The prophets that we've previously looked at in our series spoke about God's concern for his people to follow him, and his warning that if they continued to reject his rule, they would end up in exile. The people didn't listen, and so they were taken away to Babylonia, but it was not forever. In this week's prophet, Zechariah, the people are back in their land, but it is by no means flowers and sunshine. What now? God gives them - and us - a profound message of hope, but also a challenge to ground that hope in faith and express it in love.
